Potters take a while to recognize their own style, and often others will know your work before you realize you have any distinction. I recognize a lot of my own style: Shapes, surface treatment, texture, contrast, balance… however I just realized today that I like art with a lot of little squares in it. I always have. And apparently I’ve been sneaking it into pottery for fifteen years.
